Butter. This isn’t just any kind of butter. You’ll need unsalted butter from grass-fed cows. This butter has the healthy fats that you need to fuel your body all morning. Make sure you get the unsalted variety since coffee and salt don’t really mix.

Directions

  1. Brew 1 cup of coffee with 8 – 12 ounces of filtered water and 2 ½ tablespoons of your freshly-ground Bullet Proof coffee beans. We recommend using a French Press for brewing if possible since it bypasses the need for a filter which can filter out some essential coffee oils.
  2. Add up to 2 tablespoons of the Brain Octane Oil. If you’re just starting out, you’ll only want to add a teaspoon, then slowly add more over the course of a week until you’re adding at least 1 full tablespoon.
  3. Add up to 2 tablespoons of butter. If you’re not a huge fan of creamy coffee, then you may only want to add 1 tablespoon, but more provides more nutrients and benefits.
  4. Put everything into a blender. Mix on high speed for 20 – 30 seconds, or until it resembles a foamy latte.
